Beginning July 1, 2025, all health care practitioners in Florida must comply with new background screening requirements when applying for an initial license or renewing an existing license. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) has released an important notice about a fraud scheme with the potential for large losses.
